La Cuaresma representa una oportunidad para reflexionar sobre nuestras vidas, principalmente sobre nosotros mismos renovando así nuestra fe y fortaleciendo nuestro amor a Dios. En Un nuevo comienzo, el P. Paul Turner emplea ejemplos tomados de su ministerio pastoral para ofrecernos reflexiones inspiradas en las restricciones propias de la Cuaresma y en las celebraciones triunfales propias de la Pascua con la intención de que podamos aplicarlas a nuestra vida diaria. El P. Paul Turner es párroco en la Iglesia de San Antonio, en Kansas City, Missouri. Es sacerdote de la Diócesis de Kansas City - Saint Joseph y posee un doctorado en Sagrada Teología por el Pontificio Ateneo de San Anselmo, en Roma. Fue presidente de la Academia Norteamericana de Liturgia, miembro de la Societas Liturgica y de la Academia Católica de Liturgia.Recibió en 2013 el premio Jubilate Deo otorgado por la Asociación Nacional de Músicos de Pastoral y el premioFrederick McManus de la Federación de Comisiones Litúrgicas Diocesanas. Colabora también como facilitador en la Comisión Internacional de la Liturgia en Inglés. Paul Turner is pastor of St. Anthony Parish in Kansas City, Missouri. A priest of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, he holds a doctorate in sacred theology from Sant' Anselmo in Rome. His publications include At the Supper of the Lamb, Glory in the Cross, Celebrating Initiation: A Guide for Priests, and many others. He is a former President of the North American Academy of Liturgy, a member of Societas Liturgica, and the Catholic Academy of Liturgy. He is the 2013 recipient of the Jubilate Deo Award (National Association of Pastoral Musicians) and the Frederick McManus Award (Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions). He serves as a facilitator for the International Commission on English in the Liturgy.
