Johnny was born in Arkansas and adopted by the Starr family. The African-American family loved Johnny as their own and raised him to reach for the stars and follow his dreams. As Johnny grows older, he pursues his dreams and becomes a rock star, who stays busy recording and touring with his band, Johnny and the Stars. After being given the opportunity to lead a church his father abandoned in Las Vegas, Johnny decides to give up life on the road and start his journey with the Starr family and his new church in Las Vegas.
