actually two books in one: it consists of simplified versions of
'Understanding the Lord's Supper' by Baptist theologian Ernest
Kevan and 'Meditating at the Lord's Supper' by the great
nineteenth century evangelist Charles Spurgeon. Spurgeon spent
time at Mentone on the French Riviera as part of his recuperation
from illness and these communion addresses originate from that
period.
