Originally released in 1987. Green's extraordinary voice became known to the world through a string of legendary hits in the early 1970s, including classics Let's Stay Together, I'm Still in Love With You, Let's Get Married and Love and Happiness. Green started singing professionally at age nine, when he and his brothers formed a Gospel quartet, the Greene Brothers (Green dropped the final "e" from his surname when he went solo), in their hometown of Forest City, Arkansas. In 1976, Green changed his focus to Gospel music, founded the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Memphis, TN where he still preaches regularly, and subsequently recorded a series of albums that have earned him eight Grammy Awards in the "Soul Gospel Performance" category. Renewed consumer awareness with the release of his album "Everything's OK". Check out Al Green online at www.algreenmusic.com
