The Drive Thru History American History series takes viewers on fast-paced tours of historical landmarks and illuminates history in an educational and entertaining format. Each DVD contains over 80 minutes of content, interactive menus, discussion guide, and bonus footage. In Soldiers, Jamestown, and Heroes of Virginia, we begin our journey in Philedelphia at the home of Polish Patriot Thaddeus Kosciuszko. Next, we visit three important Revolutionary War battle sites: the Chew house in Germantown, Valley Forge, and the historic Fort Mifflin. In episode eight, our travels take us to Virginia, where we check out Jamestown. Next is Woodstock, Virginia, where we examine the heroic life of Peter Muhlenberg, a pastor and soldier of the Revolution. Later, we visit colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown, the site of the last major Revolutionary War battle. Episode nine takes us on an insider?s tour of three founding presidents? homes; Thomas Jefferson?s Monticello, James Madison?s Montpelier, and George Washington?s Mount Vernon.
