This volume presents sermons preached by B.F. Westcott at Westminster Abbey on the social teaching of the Gospel. Westcott held that it cannot be proclaimed too often that the Christian Life is the proper evidence of the Christian Faith. These sermons reflect Westcott's concern for the continuing social relevance of the Gospel.
