This is a short retelling of what might have happened to Snow White if Prince Charming was a little less charming. This story includes sketches by the authoress and is designed as a children's book for any child that likes fairytales, but wonders why Snow White had to leave her kingdom and marry someone she just met for a happy ending.
"If ever the magic mirror was in danger of being dashed to the floor it was now. The queen shrieked, then grew blue, for she was too enraged to allow air to enter her lips for several minutes. The apple poisoned with death's sleep had worked, but it hadn't worked well enough; her step-daughter was still alive enough to be counted in the contest's rank. What the queen needed was a better plan - one with a prince."
