Now in it's third printing, Sing the Circle Wide provides an introduction to singing global songs through the experience of Inshallah's first decade.
Spiral bound.
70 songs from Canada, Indigenous North America, Americas, Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Far East.
Founded in 2007 by Debbie Lou Ludolph at Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, now Martin Luther University College, commonly called Luther, Inshallah has grown from 20 voices to 140+ singers who come from Luther and the greater ecumenical and multifaith community. Inshallah is committed to singing songs from faith communities around the world, and to understanding the contexts from which these songs originate. Inshallah members find that singing global song is a joy-filled, spiritually enriching experience. They speak movingly of personal renewal, an enlarged world view, and an emboldened sense of advocacy and mission. Inshallah is part of the work of Luther's Kanata Centre for Worship and Global song.
