The shiny gods Leader Guide and DVD are also part of the First: Putting God First in Living and Giving, stewardship program by pastor and author Mike Slaughter. This four-week all-church stewardship program encourages parents to educate and model generosity for their kids. Components for children and youth help families explore financial decisions together, with sessions on Naming Our Idols; Money, Work, and Debt; Earn--Save--Give; and Heart Giving.
