With the trust and respect of his faithful followers, he enters the domain of politics and goes on to become one of the leading politicians of the country. The Mahant registers his presence along with the different religious leaders in the field of national and international politics. Through the medium of politics, he not only fulfils the expectations of his devotees but also gives a counterblast to the critics of the politico-religion alliance through his work style.
