After an introduction and some selected passages of Gregory the Greta's Life of St.Benedict, the author presents excerpts of the Rule, intertwining his own commentary. For monks and nuns this book can be a rediscovery of Benedict's message, while for lay-people it sheds light on how to live one's daily commitment to the Gospel.
