At the age of 29 she left this earth for Heaven, without a labored breath. She was rewarded with a new resurrected body, kissing her wheelchair goodbye... She raised her daughter Allison, born prematurely with cerebral palsy, which led to service on the Developmental Disabilities Board, The Arc, Self Advocates In Leadership, People's First of Washington staff, and appointment to the Governors Committee for Disability Issues & Employment. Together, she and Allison raised funds for www.FreeWheelChairMission.org, where over 800 light weight wheelchairs were sent to the disabled poor in developing nations.
