FBI Special Agent Jack Case had his reasons for leaving O'ahu. But when his lifelong friend, Special Agent Kamakoa Avea, needs his help to prevent a traitor from selling defense secrets to North Korea, Jack must set those reasons aside and return home.

By the time his flight arrives in Honolulu, however, Kamakoa has disappeared, ambushed on his way to meet an alleged whistleblower.

Jack and his new partner, Special Agent Alana Kealoha, must move quickly to save Kamakoa and prevent North Korea from obtaining a top-secret game changer. But the more they learn, the higher the stakes become and the less sure they are about who they can trust.
