Kings of Israel were ordained by God himself to lead the people of Israel. Although sometimes the kings actions were motivated by power, greed, or selfishness they were also sincere followers of God. These kings show us how our focus whether on Gods kingdom or on the things of this earthcan so quickly and fundamentally change our intentions. Kings included in this study are: Saul, David, Solomon, Joash, Josiah, and Hezekiah
