Man Up chronicles the life of an inner city teen learning what it means to be a man amidst all the temptations and obstacles he can't seem to avoid.

Brian (Anthony Moonie) is one summer away from being the first person in his family to attend college. All he has to do is complete a summer program and earn the scholarship he needs to make his aunt's dream a reality. Unfortunately, his older brother Jazz (Lucius Rouser) and the friends he makes that summer could care less about their futures or his. Brian finds himself struggling with authority, envy, sexual temptation, responsibility, courage and ultimately forgiveness. But hopefully, the program director Mr. Banks (James Roberson) and a local leader (Lecrae) he encounters along the way can help him challenge his views on true masculinity.
