Love Brought Me Back! Easter anthem for SATB voices and piano by Mark A. Miller.

Heavy rhythm and strong syncopations drive this hip hop anthem. The keyboard part is clearly written to accomplish this style, as are vocal parts. Attention to the rhythm and learning to feel the beat are essential to an authentic performance. An extended piano introduction sets the stage for unison voices' entrance at measure 9. Text describes the bad of this world, including fear and hatred, all swept away by the risen Lord. A key change from C minor to C major rejoices with Hallelujah recognizing the risen Christ. Cued alto notes allow for divisi in the women's parts. The composer also suggests that a few altos may double the tenor line at measure 22. The anthem gradually builds into a rhythmic frenzy shouting love! .

The piano part requires an accomplished musician. Rhythm and style make this anthem. The vocal parts include several three-part sections for the women and high tenor lines.

Performance options include the addition of a drum set, electric bass, and electric guitar for style. The anthem may be a response to the gospel reading, a rousing call to worship, or independent anthem.
