Are you tired of Living on the Wrong Side of Almost? Have you ever heard or even made the statement yourself? "I almost done it, I almost got it, I almost won" This book talks about the different things in our everyday life that's keeping us on the wrong side of almost. Our goal here at Liberty Ministry is to not only make you more aware of the things in your everyday life, that is keeping you from reaching your destiny in life, but also to make you accountable, and to create a willingness and a desire to make the changes that will elevate you to the realms of success that you desire in life. For God himself desires for you and I to be successful in all that we do III John 1:2 Beloved I wish (desire, crave) above all things that thou mayest prosper (succeed in business, affairs with a prosperous journey) and be in health (Be uncorrupt, true in doctrine, sound in mind and body) even as thy soul (The seat of the feelings, desires, affections, emotions and appetites) prospereth (The eth means repetitious, continual, success) What is keeping us on the Wrong Side of Almost The question that seems to enter our minds when it seems like we are stuck in a life style of Living on the Wrong Side of Almost is this: "Is it Sin"? If it is, and yes that could be the very cause that is keeping us on the Wrong Side of Almost. But then again to make sin accountable we must understand What is sin? Well, sin began has been and continues to be the center of debate by every Christian, religious denomination and preacher in the world, yet no one can give a completely satisfying answer. It's like opinions "everybody has one" There are many scriptures that we could look at Galatian 6:1 fault: (lapse, short coming) Isaiah 45:7, where there are those that seek to make God the author of sin: "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things" But looking at that scripture with some understanding we see that the word evil, from the Hebrew is translated as "calamity." The context of this passage concerns God's sovereignty. Truly God is sovereign over all things Exodus 4:11, but He is not the author of sin 1 John 1:5; James 1:13. He hates sin Proverbs 8:13. It's important that we understand and we become accountable Moral evil begins with the creature, not the Creator. We see through the first chapter of Genesis The Lord had declared that everything that he had made was good. Whence, then comes this wickedness to man, that he should fall away from his God? In other words, sin was not part of the original creation, nor was it decreed by the Creator's will. The first Adam, sinned, and because of his disobedience it brought about a sinful nature, but this was not sin's origin. Ezekiel 28:13-15 speaks of Satan, the initial creation was without flaw, as all things created by God were. Looking at verse 15, this gives us a hint as to the origin of sin: "You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you." Isaiah 14:12-14 further indicates that Satan (Lucifer) sinned in his pride and his coveting of God's throne. When he rebelled against God, Satan was cast out of heaven Ezekiel 28:15-17; 1 Timothy 3:6. Which brings us to the question, how did evil manifest itself in a perfect creature? It may be good to mention that evil is not a created thing-it is not a creature and has no independent being. Also, evil has no standards, no morals as goodness does; it is represented by a lack, a deficiency, and as the scriptures write "all have sinned and came short of the glory of God" All sin, no matter how simple or innocent it may seem, causes us to fall short of the glory of God.
