A young lady living an ordinary life meets a rich old widower. He woos her and then weds her, giving her a seemingly fairy-tale existence. But what starts out as an old-fashioned romance changes when his kinky desires are eventually revealed. Her naivety leads her down a path of sexual revelation and exposes her own dark side, which disturbs her. She follows him despite her concerns, biding her time to inherit a large part of his fortune.
But when his health declines he recruits his butler and his wife to keep his bride embroiled in the sexual excess he can no longer deliver. Again she follows, trapped by her own perverse desires, but resentful of the servants new power over her. Eventually her husband's time comes and she feels she can finally escape and live her life as she chooses.
But there is a catch, one that requires her to choose between her dreams of wealth and her ability to suffer further humiliation in order to achieve it. Simply put, she has to spend a year as a slave for the butler and his wife. Once she agrees to that choice she rapidly learns that it is not what she expected, but at that point she is literally trapped with no way out of it. Does she have the strength of will to endure what she thinks her dead husband planned? Or will she succumb to the depraved life she is experiencing? Can she bear the humiliations she faces and regain her independence in order to claim her inheritance, or does she lose all control of her life?
