Fundamentals of English Grammar and Composition is a textbook designed to address the needs for a college course in tradition English grammar from the conservative Christian worldview. This textbook spends a great deal of time also discussing the construction of good paragraphs. Then it moves on to essays, looking especially at the expository essay, the persuasive essay, and the examination essay-answer (the three types of essays written most often in college classrooms). Finally, there is a thorough instruction on the research paper, using the traditional Turabian format.
