Annually, a group of young creatives from around the nation gather for The Emerging Sound, hosted by People & Songs. During this annual songwriting intensive, they collaborate to bring their offering to Jesus and His Church. Songs are written to cross all generations, denominations, and genres and unite the Church. This is the heart that informs the tracklist of the newest life-giving album titled The Emerging Sound, Vol. 5.

Debuting in July of 2019, this project contains a wide variety of musical styles including gospel, pop, soul, folk and contemporary Christian. Within 12 hours of its release, The Emerging Sound, Vol. 5 reached #2 on iTunes charts. It cont ains viral YouTube and Facebook sensations like "Throne Room Song" (featuring Ryan Kennedy and May Angeles) and "Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb" (featuring Sean Carter, David Gentiles and Melanie Tierce). Other songs from the album, such as "God's Gonna Get My Praise," "New Name Written Down in Glory," "Echo (In Jesus' Name)," and "Look Up" are empowering declarations that remind us of our position as co-heirs with Christ. Breath-taking "Divinity," and soulful bop "Master," cause us to remember the faithfulness of Jesus, while powerful anthems like "Welcome King Jesus,"(featuring Kaden Slay) "He is God Alone," (featuring Joshua Sherman) and "All for Your Fame" proclaim His power and magnify the Name of Jesus.
