Oliver Grayson has been an orphan all his life, and now his wish is to go to the Naval Academy, but first he must past the test. As his gathers with his friends around the campfire, he tells his story of having been in different foster homes, a halfway house and orphanage. But the one part of his journey that sticks out in his mind is when he was at a halfway house at six years of age and met Mister Tom.
He tells of the friendships he made, especially with Mister Tom, a man who had lost his own son. They came to a point where Oliver and Mister Tom did projects together. But at Christmas that year, the children were moved and Mr. Tom searched to find Oliver so that he could give the young boy a special present, a fire truck.
“Red Big Fire Truck” is a story of faith, love and hope. It’s message is relevant, even for those whose life is not exactly the typical orphan tale. Oliver always felt love and never gave up on his prayers to God to find his family. We are proud to award this film the Dove “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages.
