In this book, its author utilizes the concept of "dispersion," taken from the Greek word diaspora in James 1:1, as an exegetical and hermeneutical key to interpret the letter of James in its historical, social, and literary context, but also taking into account the realities of human displacement and fragmentation that many migrants experience today. The addressees of this letter, who were obligated to migrate as a result of Stephen's martyrdom, live outside of Palestine in a context of dissemination and fragmentation at several levels, the faith of whom the writer seeks to restore and strengthen through a series of practical, prophetic, and wise exhortations communicated in a chiastic form.
