Reading the 50 chapters in the Book of Genesis, I started to doodle cartoons of verses that caught my attention. As I read, I notice that God Almighty came across as formidable, fearful, and not to approachable. I actually believe the Lord has a GREAT sense of humor. So, when I fine tuned the doodles into illustrations God became the cartoon character. I caricatured the human reactions and emotions when regular folks just like us were approached and spoken to by God Almighty. There's no theology or doctrine here. Just the fun and joy of doodling with God's Word. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did doing them.
In 2002 I received a computer and a website from our church when I came on staff. Curious, we looked up just how many Bill Martins had a website (being a common name), 2,200,000 +! I'm the one that's a chaplain in Bremerton, Wa. Married to Ginger Martin 46 yrs. With 2 sons, 1 daughter, a daughter-in-law, and 2 grand-daughters. What a blessing to publish a book that might bring a smile to some ones heart.
