This is a six-week small group study centered on restoration of a relationship with the heavenly Father. It concentrates on two different biblical accounts relating to returning home. The first account is from the Old Testament and shares the details of the Israelites returning to Jerusalem after 70 years of captivity in Babylon. The second account is from the New Testament and shares the familiar parable of the lost son. The author focuses on three parts of the restoration: the present and the desire for restoration, the past and avoiding things that led to the break down of a relationship with the Father, and finally the future and spiritual growth that equips them to face daily life.
