Adoption

The adoption process of a child/teen can be a challenging experience, whether because of legal procedures or adjustments for an adopted person into a new family. Yet when a person becomes part of God's family, adopted through Jesus, the welcoming is instant and possibilities are endless, as the person is used for God's glory. Author Philemon Banda knows firsthand both physical and spiritual adoption, describing the comparisons between the two in his new book, Adoption: Love, Mercy & Grace Revealed. Adopted people suffer with rejection and uncertainty in their future paths, but God lets them know they are released from sin's snare when they become heirs with Christ. The same applies to non-adopted people, as the truths of the Bible encourages people to not let circumstances cause them to quit on life, but instead to direct their attitudes of life toward a covenant with God and standing firm in faith.
