Adam's sin is still much in evidence today. History is repeating again and again. We not only see it all about us, but we continue to experience the same temptations to which these biblical saints and non-saints succumbed. Will it never end? There is also drunkenness, drug abuse, murder, rape, pornography, immodest dress, and filthy language. Adam's Long Shadow reminds us that people have not changed. This book is an insightful study of men of the Bible who failed. We do not need to commit the same sins of others, but we can learn from the noble and the ignoble. This is a most challenging call to holy living by the professing people of God. This is an excellent book for Bible character group studies. It is also an excellent devotional book.
