Did you know that a church member could actually be the one best-equipped to minister to a person during a time of need?
This study doesn't pretend to offer the training, supervised practicum, skills, or license to provide expert professional care. What it does promise is to help participants develop a heart of compassion, learn to listen more than talk, and identify the root of a problem. Group members will learn to use the Bible and prayer appropriately and to share the gospel. And they will collectively develop a list of professional referrals in cooperation with your pastoral staff. Leader helps included.
