After spending thirty-five years working in the financial industry she retired to enjoy her hobby, writing. The inspiration for The Farmer's Daughter came while caring for her father during the final years of his life. Some of his life experiences are woven into this fictional story. Jeri Le is married and resides on a farm in central Iowa. She has two adult children and two grandchildren.
