Robert McCarthy is a middle-aged priest with a secret past. That past explodes into his current life threatening his marriage, the respect of his family and his parish ministry. On his journey of confession, McCarthy is forced to deal with issues of homosexuality, judgementalism, divorce, pride and the importance of marital commitment.Through the depth of support from his own marriage McCarthy is moved to restore long ignored relationships.The bonds of three families are healed and restored through celebrations of life experiences including fishing, holiday gatherings, the discovery of unknown family connections and a wedding. William Edward Forhan is a publisher, CPA, businessman, and US Army Veteran. Bill and his wife Carol are high school sweethearts. They began their voyage together over 50 years ago in a ceremony at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Butte Montana. Their crew has grown to include two sons, their wives and five grandchildren. Their journey includes stops in Oklahoma, Germany, Colorado, Iowa, Montana, California and now Washington state. Bill was raised Roman Catholic and Carol was raised in the Lutheran Church. They found a Christian home in the Episcopal Church. Carol is now an ordained Deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane. Bill and Carol have been involved in Christian renewal programs like Cursillo and Walk to Emmaus encouraging Christians in every denomination to become leaders in their church and community.
