Light Hearted Poems Looking for Homes consists of approximately one-hundred poems inspired, composed, and polished, almost all in the author's eighty-ninth year of life. The poems are spiritual in nature, and are often humorous but never irreverent.
This collection of commentaries on the foibles, defeats and victories of life was shortlisted in the 2015 Word Alive Press Free Publishing Contest.
This is Bob McCluskey's eighth published book of poetry.
About the Author:
Bob McCluskey was born in Toronto, Ontario and spent his childhood growing up in the depression years. Bob moved to British Columbia with his first wife, Margaret, to be closer to their two married daughters and their families. Margaret and Bob were married for fifty-four years, and she passed away in 2008. Bob met his new bride, Agnes Mary, in 2010 and his poetry has manifested itself since that time!
