Kaleidoscope Prayers

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. If God wants us to pray without ceasing, then he wants to listen without ceasing. Now the problem is how do we keep our conservation interesting? We say the thing over and over, then it becomes boring and redundant even to our ears. Maybe we need to pray a little differently. Prayer can be like looking through a kaleidoscope. The same items but as you turn the kaleidoscope you get to see them from a different point of view. One time you may see a button or a bead. Things may look all blue or yellow or green. The same with prayer. This book is taking everyday events and looking at them a little differently and therefore praying about them a little differently. The prayers in this book are from daily prayers which were sent out to an intercessory team. It was recommended that these prayers be consolidated into a book so that they could be prayed more than once. So, here is that book. My prayer is that something in this book will catch your eye and your heart and stir up the flames of prayer. Exciting, unusual prayer. Prayers that keep you talking to and with the Father, morning, noon and/or night. Patricia Campbell has a Ph.D. from Northwestern Christian University.
