Nashville Life Music is the soundtrack to Nashville Life Church, a local movement that started out of CeCe Winans' living room nine years ago. The Church's uplifting music reflects its own generational and cultural diversity, marrying the 70's sounds of Earth, Wind & Fire, Elton John and Queen with the modern sounds of Chance the Rapper and Kanye West. Think: a vintage rock band playing hip-hop with a gospel choir.
Grammy-winning songwriters and bandleaders Dwan Hill (Lauren Daigle, Jonny Lang) and Alvin Love (Cece Winans' son and producer) have led their team to create a project of energetic and inspiring songs that are sure to become favourites in churches around the country.
Featuring guest artists Leeland (on the tender ballad "Shepherd") and Dove-award winning New Artist of the Year Aaron Cole (on the strings and horns jam "Sing A Song, Part 2") "Here For Jesus" feels ready to become a modern classic.
