Jordan Smith is a singer and songwriter from Kentucky and the winner of Season 9 of NBC’s “The Voice.” Jordan is the highest-selling artist to emerge from “The Voice” and from the moment he was first introduced to America, it was evident that faith was in his DNA. Now, his beliefs take center stage as he enters the next chapter of his career with a new EP.
Featuring debut single “Great You Are” Jordan’s new EP chronicles his faith journey with a diverse blend of influences, ranging from inspirational pop to choir-assisted Gospel, drawing from his mother’s love of Shirley Caesar. Cason Cooley (NEEDTOBREATHE, American Authors, Ingrid Michaelson) produced the cohesive collection of seven new originals, while Jonas Myrin (Natasha Bedingfield, Barbra Streisand) served as executive producer. Jordan says, “I want people to experience the Holy Spirit. I want them to be uplifted, and I want them to feel God’s love and acceptance through my music.”
